150' wide Diego Rivera mural constructed using ceramic tiles, native stone and native shells from the bay. Note full conch shells layed in to serpent's body and the use of abolie for the multiple heads coming out of the serpent main head. At sunset the rays of light light up the abolie shell and make the heads seem to radiate fire. This mural has extreme releif with the body well rounded extruding from the wall. This is but one example. The entire estate's interior is constructed in much the same manner from the pools to all other exterior buildings. Since the death of Senorita Olmeda the family has closed the estate to visitors but somecan be seen through the gate in the adjacent garage building which is completely mosaiced as well.
